This October, fall fun comes alive aboard the Pumpkin Express, Northern California’s only pumpkin patch train ride. Departing from Willits, just north of Santa Rosa along Highway 101, this two-hour family adventure is a one-of-a-kind way to celebrate the season.

The Pumpkin Express whisks passengers through the majestic redwoods on a 45-minute ride each way, with a magical stop at a hidden redwood glade that has been transformed into a festive pumpkin patch wonderland. Here, children can pick out their very own pumpkin to bring home.

Alongside the pumpkin patch, families can enjoy the crisp autumn air, capture Instagram-worthy photos among the fall colors, and soak in the tranquil beauty of Mendocino County’s towering redwoods.
